Regular Season Round 17: Bnei Hertzeliya - H.Haifa 99-107

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Hod Hasharon. Third ranked H.Haifa faced second-ranked Bnei Hasharon. Guests from Haifa (12-5) defeated host Bnei Hasharon (12-5) 107-99. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Bnei Hasharon. H.Haifa made 25-of-26 charity shots (96.2 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. The game was dominated by American players. Jason Siggers (191-85, college: Albany) orchestrated the victory by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!). Forward Rakeem Buckles (201-90, college: FIU) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Point guard Kendall Anthony (173-93, college: Richmond) answered with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 assists and Jakim Donaldson (204-83, college: Edinboro, agency: Inception Sports) added 18 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Bnei Hasharon. Five Bnei Hasharon players scored in double figures. H.Haifa moved-up to second place, which they share with Bnei Hertzeliya. H.Haifa will play against Hasharon (#7) in Hod Hasharon in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Bnei Hasharon will play on the road against Hasharon (#14) in Ramat Hasharon and hopes to get back on the winning track.
