An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Tehran. Third ranked Naft Abadan faced 4th ranked Chemidor. Guests from Abadan (20-5) defeated host Chemidor (17-6) 85-81. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Chemidor. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international swingman Saeid Davarpanah (190-87, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording 29 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international Reza Ranjbar contributed with 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. The former international center Masoud Soleimani (207-90) replied with 25 points and 9 rebounds and international Mohammad Jamshidi (199-91) added 13 points and 9 assists in the effort for Chemidor. Four Chemidor players scored in double figures. Naft Abadan have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to second place. Chemidor at the other side keeps the fourth position with six games lost. They share it with Mahram. Naft Abadan will play against league's leader Gorgan at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Chemidor will play against Exxon SC and hopes to get back on the winning track.
