Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eleventh ranked Netanya and 10th ranked H.Ramat Gan had identical 6-10 record. This time Netanya used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Givataim 98-81 on Thursday night. Netanya outrebounded H.Ramat Gan 35-23 including 25 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by H.Ramat Gan's players. The best player for the winners was American forward Bryce Washington (198-96, college: La-Lafayette) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists. His fellow American import guard Rashad Madden (196-92, college: Arkansas) chipped in 21 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Four Netanya players scored in double figures. American guard Kevin Capers (188-93, college: Florida Southern) produced 29 points and Nigerian-American forward TK Edogi (203-94, college: Iona) added 12 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Netanya (7-10) moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Ashkelon. Loser H.Ramat Gan dropped to the eleventh position with 11 games lost. Netanya will face higher ranked Elitzur Yavne (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. H.Ramat Gan will play against Ironi Kiryat Ata (#8) and hope to win that game.
