We should mention about the upset which took place in Bauru, where higher ranked Pinheiros (12-8) lost to eleventh ranked Paschoalotto/Bauru (9-10) in a road game 63-70. American forward Daviyon Draper (201-94, college: FIU) nailed 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and Canadian Nicholas Wiggins (198-91, college: Z*Orangeville A's) accounted for 16 points and 5 rebounds. The former international Betinho Nardi-Duarte (195-88) came up with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and the former international forward Marcus-Vinicius Toledo (201-86) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Pinheiros in the defeat. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Paschoalotto/Bauru. They moved-up to tenth place. Pinheiros at the other side keeps the sixth position with eight games lost. Paschoalotto/Bauru's next round opponent will be higher ranked UniFacisa (#7) and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
