Bottom-ranked Hasharon managed to get the second consecutive victory on Thursday night. This time newly promoted Hasharon won against fifth-ranked Ironi Kiryat Ata 90-80. Hasharon looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American guard Dorian Pinson (196-96, college: Lincoln Memorial) stepped up and scored 21 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and naturalized Polish guard Gal Gilinski (195-95) chipped in 12 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. American-Jamaican Quintrell Thomas (203-90, college: UNLV) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 15 rebounds and guard Daniel Danino (186-96) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. Five Hasharon and four Ironi Kiryat Ata players scored in double figures. Ironi Kiryat Ata's coach rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted Hasharon maintains fourteenth place with 4-13 record. Ironi Kiryat Ata lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with eight games lost. They share it with Hod Hasharon and H.Galilee. They will meet at home league's second-placed Bnei Hasharon in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
