Regular Season Round 22: San Severo - JuveCaserta 86-77

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both twelfth ranked San Severo and 11th ranked JuveCaserta had identical 8-13 record. This time San Severo used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Caserta 86-77 on Thursday night. San Severo dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to JuveCaserta's 26. They outrebounded JuveCaserta 32-20 including 24 on the defensive glass. San Severo shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by JuveCaserta's players. Four JuveCaserta players scored in double figures. San Severo (9-13) moved-up to eleventh place in A2. JuveCaserta at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the twelfth position with 14 games lost. San Severo will face league's leader Basket RAV in Ravenna in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. JuveCaserta will play at home against Orzinuovi (#13) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
