An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Greater Sudbury. Third ranked Windsor Express faced their biggest opponent Sudbury F.. Guests from Windsor (6-6) defeated host Sudbury F. (8-6) 125-119. Windsor Express made 21-of-27 charity shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Point guard Alex Johnson (178-88, college: NC State) nailed 25 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side and American guard Ryan Anderson (193-87, college: Nebraska) accounted for 22 points and 9 rebounds. Anderson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American guard Jaylen Bland (190-93, college: UC Riverside) came up with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and the other American import forward JR Holder (201-94, college: Jacksonville) added 33 points (!!!) respectively for Sudbury F. in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Windsor Express maintains third place with 6-6 record having seven points less than leader Moncton M. Sudbury F. at the other side keeps the second position with six games lost. Windsor Express' next round opponent will be The Storm (#3) in Charlottetown, which may be the game of the day.
