Regular Season Round 22: Pogon Prudnik - Polonia Leszno 87-84

A very interesting game took place in Prudnik. It ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 12th ranked Polonia Leszno (7-13) to eighth ranked Pogon Prudnik (9-11) 87-84 on Saturday evening. Pogon Prudnik players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Wojciech Pisarczyk (201-88) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists (made all of his seven free throws). The former international Marcin Sroka (201-81) contributed with 24 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Center Szymon Milczynski (204-93) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and Hubert Pabian (201-89, agency: Promotex) added 16 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Polonia Leszno. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Pogon Prudnik moved-up to seventh place, which they share with GKS Tychy. Polonia Leszno at the other side dropped to the thirteenth position with 13 games lost. Pogon Prudnik's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Gornik in Walbrzych and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Polonia Leszno will play at home against Miasto Szkla (#6) and hope to win that game.
