Another exciting game was between eighth ranked Leeuwarden and 4th placed Leiden where host Leeuwarden (5-14) won against Leiden (10-7) 66-60. Worth to mention a great performance of Lithuanian forward Arunas Mikalauskas (204-97) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international power forward Craig Osaikhwuwuomwan (211-90) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. International Worthy de-Jong (194-88) answered with 17 points and 6 rebounds and American power forward Jarvis Williams (202-93, college: Murray St.) added 12 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Leiden.
