Important game to mention about took place in Bialystok. Sixth ranked AZS UJK Kielce (11-8) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 3rd placed Zubry (15-4) 87-84 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Zubry. AZS UJK Kielce players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. Michal Szwedo (200-97) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and Jakub Lewandowski (190-92) chipped in 26 points and 6 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). The best for the losing side was Arkadiusz Zabielski (197-84) with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists and Andrzej Misiewicz (199-84, college: Daytona St. CC) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds. Four Zubry players scored in double figures. AZS UJK Kielce have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Zubry at the other side dropped to the second position with four games lost. They share it with Sudety and AZS Start 2. AZS UJK Kielce will play against Legia 2 (#11) in Warszawa in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Zubry will play on the road against AZS UW (#8) in Warszawa and hopes to get back on the winning track.
