The most exciting game of round 21 in the Liga Endesa took place in Bilbao. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 7th ranked Unicaja Malaga (11-10) to fifth ranked RETAbet BB (13-8) 98-95 on Saturday evening. The former international point guard Jaime Fernandez (186-93) answered with 20 points and 7 assists and international guard Dario Brizuela (196-94) added 21 points in the effort for Unicaja Malaga. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Newly promoted RETAbet BB maintains fifth place with 13-8 record. Unicaja Malaga at the other side keeps the seventh position with ten games lost. They share it with Burgos and Valencia. RETAbet BB are looking forward to face Real Betis (#16) in Sevilla in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Unicaja Malaga will play at home against the league's second-placed Real Madrid (#2) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
