Regular Season Round 35: Kagoshima - Tokyo CR 78-83

There was a small surprise in Renova where tenth ranked Tokyo CR (13-23) defeated 8th ranked Kagoshima (15-19) 83-78. Tokyo CR made 21-of-26 charity shots (80.8 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Kagoshima helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The game was also dominated by American players. It was an exceptional evening for swingman Michael Craig (196-91, college: S.Mississippi) who led the winners with a triple-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 16 rebounds and 10 assists. Center Joshua Crawford (211-88, college: Indiana St.) accounted for 18 points and 11 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) for the winning side. Four Tokyo CR players scored in double figures. Forward Shelton Boykin (198-92, college: Angelo St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds and forward Chris Washburn (203-93, college: TCU) added 6 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for Kagoshima in the defeat. Kagoshima's coach let to play ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the third consecutive win for Tokyo CR. They maintain tenth place with 13-23 record. Kagoshima at the other side keeps the eighth position with 19 games lost. Tokyo CR will have a break next round.
