Seventh-ranked Milano (9-10) used its home court advantage to challenge second ranked Team Crema (15-3) on Saturday. The visitors from Crema managed to secure only two-point victory 55-53. However their fans expected much easier game. Guard Francesca Melchiori (174-93, agency: SPORTlab Agency) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points and 5 steals. Guard Norma Rizzi (172-93) contributed with 8 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Susanna Toffali (170-98) replied with 18 points and Arianna Beretta (178-96, agency: SPORTlab Agency) added 9 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Milano. Milano's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Team Crema maintains second position in A2 with 15-3 record having just three points less than leader Moncalieri.
