Regular Season Round 24: Kaysersberg - La Charite 113-83

There was an upset when higher ranked La Charite (14-10) was rolled over on the road by thirteenth ranked Kaysersberg (5-19) 113-83 on Saturday. Kaysersberg forced 19 La Charite turnovers and outrebounded them 38-26 including 25 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three sinking 17 long-distance shots on high 58.6 percentage. Kaysersberg looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The best player for the winners was naturalized Congolese swingman Ted Lissossi (190-90) who scored 22 points and 9 assists. Lithuanian guard Dovydas Redikas (193-92) chipped in 14 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Kaysersberg players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Juwan Howard-Jr (200-92, college: Detroit Mercy, agency: Green Sports Management) who recorded 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Paul Bouloukouet (192-93) added 12 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kaysersberg moved-up to twelfth place in Group B, which they share with Feurs EF. Loser La Charite dropped to the sixth position with ten games lost. Kaysersberg will face higher ranked Mulhouse (#9) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
