There was a small surprise in Morón de la Frontera where ninth ranked Moron (10-11) beat 6th ranked Cocinas.com (10-11) 78-67 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was British Josh Steel (194-97, college: Duquesne) who scored 11 points and 6 assists. American forward Adam Dieball (206, college: CBU) chipped in 14 points. Moron's coach Antonio Lopez used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Marcos Portalez (204-95, agency: Interperformances) who recorded 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Daniel Manchon (193-98, agency: Promo Sport ID) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Moron moved-up to seventh place in Silver. Moron will face higher ranked Zamorano (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
