Tenth-ranked Bankeryds (1-16) made lots of trouble for fourth ranked Taby Basket (11-7) on Saturday. Taby Basket managed to secure only one-point victory 78-77. However their fans expected much easier game. The hosts trailed by 7 points at the halftime before their 21-11 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Jimmy Lundin (184-90) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 5 assists and swingman Erik Andersson (197-87) who added 16 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Guard Kristoffer Gronhage (188-92) responded with 28 points and forward Wictor Grenthe (203-87) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds. Newly promoted Taby Basket maintains fourth position with 11-7 record. Bankeryds lost eleventh consecutive game. Bankeryds at the other side, also newcomer in the league, stay at the bottom place with 16 games lost. Taby Basket will meet at home league's leader KFUM Fryshuset in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Bankeryds will have a break next round.
