Top ranked Puente Alto (21-11) recorded its eleventh loss on the court of third ranked Puerto Montt on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Puerto Montt 78-72. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Puerto Montt looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American Durrell Summers (196-89, college: Michigan St.) who scored 44 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds. His fellow American import center Gene Teague (206-89, college: Seton Hall) chipped in 11 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Argentinian forward Nicholas Wadell (201-89) who recorded 41 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and Lorenzo Cifuentes added 6 points and 5 rebounds respectively.
