Regular Season Round 21: Villarrobledo - Benicarlo 67-77

There was a minor upset when 10th ranked Villarrobledo (7-14) was defeated at home by twelfth ranked Benicarlo (5-16) 77-67 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Lithuanian Aidas Einikis (195-96) who scored 21 points. Point guard Pol Bassas (184-95) chipped in 13 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard DeAngelo Hailey (190-90, college: NW Missouri St.) who recorded 16 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import forward Vadal Faniel (201-92, college: Texas A&M Int.) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Benicarlo maintains twelfth place in Silver with 5-16 record. Loser Villarrobledo keeps the tenth position with 14 games lost. Benicarlo will face league's leader Real Murcia at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
