Rather expected game in Athens where 13th ranked Tritonas S. (5-12) was defeated by tenth ranked Agriniou (8-10) 68-54 on Saturday. Guard Giorgos Bereris (188-88) scored 6 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Athanasios Grekas (196-96) chipped in 8 points and 8 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was swingman Nikos Kokkalis (198-85) with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and Serbian forward Nikola Stanojevic (203-90) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Agriniou moved-up to eighth place. Tritonas S. at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the fifteenth position with 12 games lost. Agriniou will face league's leader Charilaos TM in Mesolongi in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Tritonas S. will play on the road against Karditsas (#7) and hope to win that game.
