Very predictable result when first ranked Wisla Krakow (18-1) rolled over on the road 10th ranked UR Krakow (6-14) 103-63 on Saturday. Wisla Krakow looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by UR Krakow's players. It was a good game for power forward Maciej Maj (203-88) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Forward Rafal Zglobicki (197-94) contributed with 15 points and 4 assists for the winners. Five Wisla Krakow players scored in double figures. Center Michal Kalinski (204-80) answered with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 15 rebounds and swingman Radoslaw Skubinski (189-0) added 11 points in the effort for UR Krakow. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the tenth consecutive win for Wisla Krakow. They maintain first place with 18-1 record, which they share with Dziki Wwa. UR Krakow lost their seventh game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the ninth position with 14 games lost. Wisla Krakow will face Polonia Bytom (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. UR Krakow will play against AZS PCz and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
