Very expected game when 5th ranked Warriors (12-41) lost to first ranked Lakers (39-12) in Oakland 120-125 on Saturday. Lakers outrebounded Warriors 47-33 including 35 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Warriors were plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for LeBron James (203-84) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 8 rebounds and 11 assists. Center Anthony Davis (208-93, college: Kentucky) contributed with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Lakers players scored in double figures. Forward Marquese Chriss (206-97, college: Washington) replied with 26 points and 9 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) and Canadian guard Andrew Wiggins (203-95, college: Kansas) added 24 points and 5 steals in the effort for Warriors. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Lakers maintains first position with 39-12 record. Loser Warriors keep the fifth place with 41 games lost.
