Regular Season Round 17: Danilovgrad - Lovcen 78-81

Eighth-ranked Danilovgrad (3-13) made lots of trouble for second ranked Lovcen (13-3). The visitors from Cetinje managed to secure only three-point victory 81-78. However their fans expected much easier game. Lovcen forced 20 Danilovgrad turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Lovcen especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. American guard KeVaughn Allen (188-95, college: Florida) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Center Vasilije Vucinic (208-1) contributed with 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Lovcen's coach Zoran Kascelan allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Center Aleksandar Radulovic (207-84) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and guard Dragoje Djokovic (190-93) added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists in the effort for Danilovgrad. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Lovcen. They maintain second place with 13-3 record having just three points less than leader Sutjeska. Danilovgrad lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Primorje 1945.
