The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Indonesia P. as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Indonesia P. smashed 8th ranked Satya Wacana in Jakarta 105-67. Indonesia P. made 19-of-25 charity shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Indonesia P. outrebounded Satya Wacana 49-20 including a 36-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for British V.Islands center Lester Prosper (210-88, college: Old Westbury) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 20 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international Abraham Grahita (201-95) contributed with 25 points and 5 assists for the winners. American swingman Chris Sterling (196-93, college: Ariz.Christian) replied with 15 points and 6 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Montrell Williams (193-92, college: Arkansas Tech) added 18 points in the effort for Satya Wacana. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Indonesia P. have a solid three-game winning streak. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Satya Wacana at the other side keeps the eighth place with six games lost. Satya Wacana will play next round against Hang Tuah trying to get back on the winning streak. Indonesia P. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
