Not a big story in a game when 14th ranked Pozuelo (5-14) was edged at home by ninth ranked Tobarra (9-10) 81-78 on Saturday. It was a very good performance for forward Miguel Raez (200-79) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Acoydan McCarthy (197-99) contributed with 19 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Tobarra players scored in double figures. Guard Alberto Arias (188-89) answered with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Jose Galocha (185-88) added 16 points in the effort for Pozuelo. Pozuelo's coach Mariano Arasa let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Newly promoted Tobarra maintains ninth place in Group B with 9-10 record, which they share with Dist.Olimpico. Pozuelo lost their third game in a row. They keep the fourteenth position with 14 games lost. Tobarra will face Aguimes (#16) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Pozuelo will play against Real Madrid 2 and hope to win that game.
