Regular Season Round 24: Vanves - Tours 77-81

Very expected game when 14th ranked Vanves (6-17) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Tours (17-7) 81-77 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was naturalized Ivorian swingman Guy-Landry Edi (202-88, college: Gonzaga, agency: Promotex) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Guinean swingman Ahmed Doumbia (195-89, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 6 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Tours players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Raphael Desroses (199-80) who recorded a double-double by scoring 28 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and center Miguel Buval (207-90) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Tours moved-up to second place in Group A, which they share with Le Havre and Boulogne. Newly promoted Vanves keeps the fourteenth position with 17 games lost.
