Visiting Universidad Catolica was defeated by AB Ancud in Ancud 82-69. AB Ancud dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Universidad Catolica's 26. They outrebounded Universidad Catolica 45-30 including 34 on the defensive glass. American forward Travion Leonard (205-93, college: Barry) nailed a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and Argentinian Lisandro Rasio (198-90) accounted for 11 points, 16 rebounds and 6 assists. Four AB Ancud players scored in double figures. American guard DJ Ursery (193, college: Alaska-Anch.) came up with 28 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import Scott Cutley (196-85, college: CS Fullerton) added 15 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for Universidad Catolica in the defeat. The victory was the eleventh consecutive win for AB Ancud. They moved-up to second place, which they share with CDU Concepcion and CD Valdivia. Universidad Catolica at the other side dropped to the fourth position with 18 games lost.
