There was no surprise when 9th ranked A.Costa IM (10-13) was crushed on the road by seventh ranked Urania Milano (12-11) 95-68 on Saturday. Urania Milano outrebounded A.Costa IM 36-24 including 24 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by A.Costa IM's players. The best player for the winners was American Nikolas Raivio (193-86, college: Portland, agency: Pensack Sports) who scored 24 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. His fellow American import center Reggie Lynch (208-94, college: Minnesota) chipped in a double-double by scoring 29 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks. American forward Anthony Morse (206-94, college: Tenn Tech) produced 16 points and 5 rebounds and forward Tommaso Ingrosso (206-92, college: W.Texas CC) added 14 points respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Urania Milano maintains seventh place in A2 with 12-11 record. Loser A.Costa IM keeps the ninth position with 13 games lost. Urania Milano will face higher ranked Tezenis VER (#3) in Verona in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. A.Costa IM will play on the road against Kleb Ferrara (#4) and hope to win that game.
