Third-ranked Thunder (32-21) used its home court advantage to challenge second ranked Celtics (37-15) in Oklahoma City. The visitors from Boston managed to secure only one-point victory 112-111. However their fans expected easier game. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Thunder. Forward Jayson Tatum (203-98, college: Duke) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and point guard Kemba Walker (185-90, college: UConn) chipped in 27 points. At the losing side Canadian point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (198-98, college: Kentucky) responded with 24 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Chris Paul (183-85, college: Wake Forest) scored 22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists.
