No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Dafni Agioy (6-10) beat 11th ranked Giannena (4-12) in Athens 69-55. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Mikayla Cowling (188-96, college: California) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists and center Kelsey Lang (197-95, college: Texas) who added 16 points, 8 rebounds and 6 blocks during the contest. At the losing side forward Acheil Tac (188-93, college: N.Texas) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 19 rebounds (made all of her eleven free throws !!!) and guard Sierra Calhoun (183-96, college: Rutgers) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. Giannena's coach Giorgos Siametis rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dafni Agioy moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Esperides and PAOK. Giannena lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eleventh position with 12 games lost. Dafni Agioy will play against Kronos AD (#10) on the road in the next round. Giannena will play against Panathinaikos and hopes to get back on the winning track.
