Regular Season Round 41: FE Nagoya - Ehime OV 89-60

The game between Top Four teams took place in Nagoya. Third ranked host FE Nagoya (21-20) smashed their close opponent Orange Vikings (21-20) 89-60. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Orange Vikings. FE Nagoya made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American-Nigerian center Chris Otule (211-90, college: Marquette, agency: Octagon Europe) who had a double-double by scoring 30 points and 12 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). American forward Josh Hawkinson (208-95, college: WSU, agency: Wasserman) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. FE Nagoya's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-90, college: Portland St.) produced 30 points and 8 rebounds (was perfect 12-for-12 from the free throw line !!!) and American-Irish forward Brian Voelkel (196-92, college: Vermont) added 8 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for the guests. FE Nagoya maintains third place with 21-20 record having ten points less than leader Shinshu BW, which they share with Ehime OV. FE Nagoya will meet Ibaraki R. (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Orange Vikings will play against Koshigaya A. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
