Regular Season Round 22: Biofarm PZN - Klodzko 81-74

There was a minor upset in Poznan where 9th ranked Klodzko (7-12) was defeated by eleventh ranked Biofarm PZN (8-12) 81-74 on Sunday. Guard Marcin Flieger (185-84, agency: Promotex) scored 15 points, 8 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Michal Marek (208-96) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Biofarm PZN players scored in double figures. Biofarm PZN's coach Marcin Klozinski used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side guard Jan Malesa (187-99) responded with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and point guard Karol Kutta (172-96) scored 13 points. Biofarm PZN have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Pruszkow. Newly promoted Klodzko dropped to the eleventh position with 12 games lost. Biofarm PZN will have a break next round. Klodzko will play at home against Ksiezak Lowicz (#5) and hope to win that game.
