There was no surprise in Solna where 10th ranked Bankeryds (1-16) were defeated by sixth ranked AIK Basket (9-10) 86-80. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts were ahead by 2 points but lost the second period ending it with a 2-point deficit before their 23-15 run, which allowed them to win the game. AIK Basket made 16-of-20 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Bankeryds turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. The winners were led by the former international guard Serkan Inan (201-86) who scored that evening 25 points and guard Felix Lemetti (188-99, college: Fairfield) supported him with 10 points and 11 assists.
