The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Pinelands as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Pinelands smashed 3rd placed Tridents at home 103-64. Pinelands forced 19 Tridents turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Tridents' players. The best player for the winners was center Kiserian Adams (-0) who scored 23 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Derion Hurley chipped in 17 points and 9 rebounds. Four Pinelands players scored in double figures. American power forward Kwame Alexander (201-90, college: CS San Bernar.) produced 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Saadique Browne added 12 points and 13 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) respectively for the guests. Tridents' coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Pinelands (6-0) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Tridents at the other side dropped to the fourth place with two games lost. Tridents will play next round against Lakers trying to get back on the winning streak. Pinelands will try to continue on its current victory against second ranked Bulls at home.
