Regular Season Round 22: Miasto Szkla - Pruszkow 71-76

An interesting game took place in Krosno where higher ranked Miasto Szkla (9-10) was upset on its own court by tenth ranked Pruszkow (8-12) 76-71 on Sunday. Miasto Szkla was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Power forward Mateusz Szwed (198-91) scored 20 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard January Sobczak (179-97) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side power forward Maciej Zmudzki (206-97) responded with 12 points and 9 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) and guard Marcin Dymala (187-90) scored 9 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Pruszkow moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Biofarm PZN. Loser Miasto Szkla keeps the sixth position with ten games lost. Pruszkow will face AZS PO (#11) in Opole in the next round.
