Very important is a road loss of first ranked Heat (34-18) against fourth ranked Trail Blazers (25-29) on Sunday night. Visiting Heat was defeated by Trail Blazers in a tough game in Portland 109-115. Point guard Damian Lillard (190-90, college: Weber St.) nailed 33 points (!!!) and 8 assists for the winning side and forward Trevor Ariza (203-85, college: UCLA) accounted for 21 points and 5 assists. Slovenian point guard Goran Dragic (190-86) came up with 27 points and 7 assists and forward Jae Crowder (198-90, college: Marquette) added 18 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Heat in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Trail Blazers maintains fourth place with 25-29 record. Heat lost their third game in a row. They still keep top position with 18 games lost. Trail Blazers will have a break next day, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Heat will play against Warriors in Oakland and hope to secure a win.
