Regular Season Round 15: Samobor - Universitas 69-70

A very interesting game took place in Samobor. It ended with only one-point home defeat of higher ranked KK Samobor (8-7) to tenth ranked Universitas (6-9) 70-69 on Sunday evening. It was an exceptional evening for power forward Viktor Saric (203-1, agency: Octagon Europe) who led the winners and scored 27 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Bruno Rebic (186-99) accounted for 18 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals for the winning side. Bruno Levanic-Kutin (-96) came up with 23 points and 9 rebounds and swingman Josip Skara (193-94) added 10 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for KK Samobor in the defeat. Four KK Samobor players scored in double figures. Universitas moved-up to ninth place. Newly promoted KK Samobor dropped to the fourth position with seven games lost. Universitas' next round opponent will be league's second-placed Bosco in Zagreb and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. KK Samobor will play on the road against Kastela in Kastela Sucurac and hope to win that game.
