The game between second ranked Gipuzkoa (16-5) and 18th ranked Marin (3-18) in San Sebastian ended with biggest points difference. Gipuzkoa outscored guests from Marin 94-66. Gipuzkoa dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Marin's 32. They outrebounded Marin 37-24 including a 31-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. Four Marin players scored in double figures. Gipuzkoa maintains second place with 16-5 record behind leader Valladolid. Newly promoted Marin stay at the bottom position with 18 games lost. Gipuzkoa's next round opponent will be Real Canoe (#17) in Madrid which should be another easy win for them. Marin will play at home against Magia Huesca and hope to win that game.
