Another exciting game was between sixth ranked CD Puerto Varas and 4th placed Temuco where CD Puerto Varas (16-16) beat Temuco (15-17) on the road 72-66. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Temuco. CD Puerto Varas made 16-of-20 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. It was a good game for Nigerian-American George Williams (198-90, college: Wayland Baptist) who led his team to a victory with 30 points and 7 rebounds. American forward Deangelo Kirkland (203-89, college: Columbus St., agency: Interperformances) contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Williams is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American swingman Alssene Saintilus (201-93, college: Bloomsburg) answered with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 15 rebounds and South African forward Pieter Prinsloo (208-92, college: Marist, agency: Promo Sport ID) added 14 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Temuco. CD Puerto Varas moved-up to third place, which they share with CD Castro. Temuco at the other side dropped to the third position with 17 games lost.
