There was a minor upset in Chivilcoy where leader Estudiantes O. (17-8) was defeated by third ranked Racing (15-8) 71-58 on Monday. Racing outrebounded Estudiantes O. 41-30 including 32 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Matias Aristu (194-95) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Alejo Barrales (175-91) chipped in 11 points and 6 assists. Four Racing players scored in double figures. Racing's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest.
