They outrebounded Suns 59-29 including a 16-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Lakers players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. Center Anthony Davis (208-93, college: Kentucky) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. LeBron James (203-84) contributed with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. Swingman Mikal Bridges (198-96, college: Villanova) replied with 18 points and 6 rebounds and Mali power forward Cheick Diallo (206-96, college: Kansas) added 15 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) in the effort for Suns. Four Lakers and five Suns players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Lakers maintains first position with 40-12 record. Suns at the other side keep the fourth place with 33 games lost.
