Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both sixth ranked Holon and 7th ranked M.Haifa had identical 8-9 record. This time Holon used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from 84-80 on Monday night. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Holon made 7 blocks. American guard Kenisha Bell (175-94, college: Minnesota) notched 29 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import forward Betnijah Laney (183-93, college: Rutgers, agency: LBM Management) supported her with 15 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Even a double-double of 19 points and 15 rebounds by American forward Kristi Bellock (186-90, college: Texas A&M) did not help to save the game for M.Haifa. Point guard Daniela Hagag (168-92) added 19 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Holon maintains sixth position with 9-9 record. Newly promoted M.Haifa keeps the seventh place with ten games lost.
