The game between closely ranked teams ended with tenth ranked Udine's (9-10) home victory over 11th ranked Sarcedo (7-12) 72-50 on Tuesday. Point guard Giulia Ianezic (174-0) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points. Elena Vella (172-0) contributed with 8 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Swingman Marina Fumagalli (175-93) replied with 12 points and 8 rebounds and guard Federica Iannucci (172-93) added 9 points in the effort for Sarcedo. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Udine moved-up to ninth place in A2. Newly promoted Sarcedo keeps the eleventh position with 12 games lost. Udine will face league's second-placed Team Crema on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Sarcedo will play against Vicenza (#15) and hope to win that game.
