Regular Season Round 20: Saint-Quentin - Blois 75-79

ProB top team - ADA Blois (16-4) added another victory to their record. This time they beat seventeenth ranked Saint-Quentin (5-15) 79-75. The winners were led by American forward Tyren Johnson (201-88, college: La-Lafayette) who scored that evening 14 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Thomas Cornely (190-91, agency: Octagon Europe) supported him with 10 points and 7 assists. Even a double-double of 20 points and 12 rebounds by American-Mali point guard Drake Reed (194-87, college: Austin Peay, agency: Inception Sports) did not help to save the game for Saint-Quentin. Vincentian-Canadian forward Lien Phillip (203-89, college: Windsor) added 15 points and 9 rebounds for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. ADA Blois have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 16-4 record. Newly promoted Saint-Quentin keeps the seventeenth place with 15 games lost. ADA Blois will play against ALM Evreux (#16) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Saint-Quentin will play against Saint Chamond and hopes to get back on the winning track.
