Regular Season Round 112: Denver N. - LA Lakers 116-120

An interesting game for Lakers (41-12) which played road game in Denver against their close opponent Nuggets (39-16). First ranked Lakers managed to get a 4-point victory 120-116. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Nuggets. Lakers looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Nuggets were plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for LeBron James (203-84) who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 32 points, 12 rebounds and 14 assists. Center Anthony Davis (208-93, college: Kentucky) contributed with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds for the winners. Canadian swingman Jamal Murray (198-97, college: Kentucky) replied with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 10 assists and Serbian center Nikola Jokic (209-95, agency: BeoBasket) added 22 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Nuggets. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Lakers have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 41-12 record which they share with defeated Nuggets. Loser Nuggets still keep top place with 16 games lost.
