There was a small surprise in Chivilcoy where sixth ranked Rocamora (11-15) beat 3rd ranked Racing (16-9) 76-71 on Wednesday. It was a great shooting night for Rocamora especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. The best player for the winners was guard Mauro Araujo (180-94) who scored 17 points. Cristian Romero (196-82) chipped in 18 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Rocamora's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Josh Morris (203, college: Texas-PB) who recorded 15 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Alejo Barrales (175-91) added 12 points and 11 assists respectively. Four Racing players scored in double figures. Rocamora maintains sixth position in Liga Argentina with 11-15 record. Loser Racing keeps the third place with nine games lost. Rocamora will face Atenas (#6) in Carmen de Patagones in the next round. Racing will play on the road against Ciclista in Juninense and hope to win that game.
