Regular Season Round 33: Kobrat - Lahti 77-90

Rather predictable result in Lapua where ninth ranked Lahti (12-21) beat 11th ranked Kobrat (8-23) 90-77. The game was mostly controlled by Lahti. Kobrat was better in third quarter 24-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Lahti forced 19 Kobrat turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a good game for American forward Taylor Johns (201-94, college: UC Riverside, agency: Slash Sports) who led his team to a victory with 23 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import forward Courtney Stockard (196-95, college: St.Bonaventure) contributed with 18 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Four Lahti players scored in double figures. American guard Brandon Boggs (198-92, college: W.Carolina, agency: Mansfield and Associates) answered with 23 points and the former international point guard Fiifi Aidoo (189-96, college: GCU, agency: Players Group) added 19 points and 4 assists in the effort for Kobrat. Newly promoted Lahti maintains ninth place with 12-21 record. Kobrat lost their seventh game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with 23 games lost. Lahti will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Kobrat will play on the road against Pyrinto (#5) in Tampere and hopes to get back on the winning track.
