Regular Season Round 23: Klodzko - Ksiezak Lowicz 91-93

Twelfth-ranked Klodzko (7-13) made lots of trouble for fifth ranked Ksiezak Lowicz (13-8) on Wednesday. The visitors from Lowicz managed to secure only two-point victory 93-91. However their fans expected much easier game. Ksiezak Lowicz made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for Mikolaj Stopierzynski (190-94) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points and 6 rebounds. Piotr Robak (194-91) helped adding 22 points and 4 assists. Point guard Karol Kutta (172-96) responded with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Jan Malesa (187-99) scored 21 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Ksiezak Lowicz maintains fifth place with 13-8 record. Klodzko lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth position with 13 games lost. They share it with AZS PO. Ksiezak Lowicz will meet at home Biofarm PZN (#10) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Klodzko will play against Kotwica in Kolobrzeg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
