It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Pogon Prudnik. Gornik dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Pogon Prudnik's 20. Gornik forced 21 Pogon Prudnik turnovers. The best player for the winners was Damian Pieloch (195-89) who scored 18 points. Center Damian Cechniak (208-93) chipped in 6 points and 11 rebounds. Gornik's coach Lukasz Grudniewski used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Wojciech Pisarczyk (201-88) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and center Tomasz Nowakowski (207-90) added 13 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for the guests. Four Pogon Prudnik players scored in double figures. Gornik keeps a position of league leader, which they share with WKK Wroclaw. Loser Pogon Prudnik keeps the seventh place with 12 games lost. Gornik will face Miasto Szkla (#6) in Krosno in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Pogon Prudnik will play at home against Polfarmex and hope to win that game.
