Regular Season Round 24: Ammerud Bskt - Kongsberg 87-105

BLNO top team - Kongsberg (23-0) had no problems winning another game on Thursday. This time they beat eighth ranked Ammerud Bskt (7-17) in Oslo 105-87. Kongsberg dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Ammerud Bskt's 50. They outrebounded Ammerud Bskt 41-20 including a 29-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for forward Aly Hudgins (201-93, college: East Central) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). American guard Joshua Hart (194-90, college: Va Intermont) contributed with 24 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all twelve shots !!!) for the winners. Five Kongsberg players scored in double figures. Kongsberg's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Armani Cotton (201-91, college: Yale) replied with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and Orji Okoroafor added 28 points in the effort for Ammerud Bskt. Kongsberg have an impressive 23-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 23-0 record. Ammerud Bskt lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 17 games lost. Kongsberg are looking forward to face Gimle BBK (#5) in Bergen in the next round. Ammerud Bskt will play on the road against Baerum Basket in Bekkestua and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
