13th ranked Brasilia (7-15) was outscored at home by third ranked Sao Paulo (17-6) with the biggest margin this round 96-73 on Thursday night. Sao Paulo looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of the former international Leonardo Meindl (201-93) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 9 rebounds. The former international point guard Georginho de-Paula (195-96) helped adding 21 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Four Sao Paulo players scored in double figures. Sao Paulo's coach Claudio Mortari felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
